Can Management Agents hold

Can anyone please tell me what is the legal commission that can be taken from an actors pay by their management agent in WA and if this differs all over Australia or is the same, and also what is reasonable amount of time to wait before payment should be payable. have read on this site that in Queensland it is illegal for an agent to take over 10. know some agents in WA that take 20 and some take 10.

Sometimes an agency will cover

But thats small percentage, its the same with the modeling industry. There are lot of scams out there, but it isnt true that it is scam just because money is involved. Even if an agency does pay the up front costs, that money will just come out of the first job you on Everyone is so quick to say it shouldnt money to into the industry. models will have to pay for their own marketing materials, such as portfolio and comp cards. Sometimes an agency will cover the costs, but you have to look at it like school.
